1B- Appropriation and Distortion Casting Positive and Negative Form 3 Dimensional Form

Aim was to manipulate techniques of production, such as moulding and casting, to appropriate organic forms. Then we had to not only assess the success of these techniques, but also the architectural value/use/performance of our generated forms.

I found it to be a very enjoyable exercise, as well as an opportunity to gain some experience and familiarity with different methods of making and production. However it was only possible to recognise the forms as architectural on a superficial level, as they were solid, it was also very hard to imagine the interior architecture as they were little more than skins.
